It was a tough encounter on paper but the result on the field failed to justify that belief.  A star studded Malaita Eagle side muffled any Hornets dream of an upset as it raced to an early 4-nil lead by the half time.  Led by the evergreen Batram Suri, the Eagles simply dominated the game.  The defense was strong and opportunities for Hornets were few and far in between.

The government says that it does not have the money to send medial students to Cuba because they are not allowed to take $800,000 from the evil Iranians  (errr, I'm not corrupt, but the man who gave me the free money was), yet PM Sikua announces that the government lost $433 million due to corruption and mismanagement. Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame. Will this rubbish never end??

Speaking with Lifhaus today, Team Manager and Vice-President of Malaita Football Association, Eddie Misite'e said, "We had raised the issue of security on Friday's technical meeting with SIFF.  SIFF at that time assured us that security would be provided even saying thousands will be deployed.  On Saturday only 18 personnel's showed up."
