Salutations My name is Simon i'm a software developer that's been in the industry for quite a while, i live and work in Brisbane mostly doing project work. I've been fortunate enough to go through the transformation of our industry from service orientation framework to a combination of ITSM and Service architect which has given me a broad understanding of this industry as well as given me expose to small, medium and diverse projects. I've always been fascinated with the process we undertake when designing programs from the information we gather to the final construct incorporating functional, process and business logic design methodologies, the key to any software project is your information gathering techniques and the reliability of this information, which is the bases for your software blueprint. I'm currently experimenting with some design methodologies which can be applied to gather information on past process, practices and methodologies to improve on today's farming techniques, conflict resolution, and trading or in my case to understand my people more, there can also be an element of conservationism if one see's it that way however the main focus is the ability to see value in our past and apply it to our current way of life. The is potential is quite huge especially for governments that may want to create quality policies for their rural electorates.

My goal is to create a discussion from this thread no matter how how small or big, hopefully if your at your village and you have any opportunity to stand back and observe the daily going on's please come back and post it here. Or if its culturally sensitive you can email me at bilfo71@hotmail.com
