This is an interesting question. I have not read the constitution as well as the relevant provisions. I think its something that must be done shortly. But in my opinion, if we were to fulfill this obligation and there is time, we will but I hope common sense prevails and some precendence is set now with the relevant provisions modified to cater for this kind of occurances. What me meanim nao olsem - hem short time nao so parliament must passim amendment if provision no stap for deal waitim case olsem.

define short time olsem 'after seven manis' if kaen olsem happen then no bye election.
PM or PS for responsible ministries as a care taker.
tingting blong tasol.
..And any remaining benefits or monies where MP no collectim or usim finis like RCDF...etc should be brought forward for the next winning MP... nogut family bae finis every RCDF left yet lo account ia.. which should be for constituency....
Parliament by dissolve lo 23rd this month and caretaker gavman will be in place until the elections. By law, the caretaker government will be unable to spend or do anything else. This means that it may be unable to move to setting a bye election. At least in my understanding but its something the electrol commission has to clear. But I think that once parliament is dissolved, everybody is a caretaker nomoa ya so in a legal sense it makes no sense to elect a caretaker MP and like someone said earlier - it would make sense for somebody else to act in this position until new person hem elected. But I agree, the laws need to be relooked at and most importantly who takes responsibility for things like dispersing RCDF. I think me herem that unfortunately, election managers and cronies kept on disbursing the funds even when the MP had passed away which in my opinion is absolutely wrong and corrupt. The new parliament must discuss and propose the best solution for cases like this and set out very clear guidelines on what happens when an unfortunate situation like this is reached.
