Huawei squeezes Our Telekom out of own space

Space has become a major issue at the Our Telekom compounds at Pt Cruz.  Thats because the Chinese have invaded the Our Telekom premises.  Huawei Technologies Ltd had been recently awarded the contract to upgrade the current mobile phone network to the state of the art 3G network that will surely ease the constraints placed on the current network.  To provide space to move equipment and personnel easily, all prime parking space within the premises have been cleared and as a result most company employees and vehicles are now parked along the main road adjacent to the main gate.

An employee who spoke with Lifhaus acknowledged that the parking has become an issue "but if this upgrade is going to change anything, then this is a small price to pay".  The securities have also admitted that keeping a watch over company vehicles parked on the public roads is difficult.  "It used to be easier when everyone was parked inside because we are able to keep an eye on the vehicles.  We must now constantly check outside the gate to make sure the vehicles are safe."

A well placed Lifhaus source has said "Huawei is slightly ahead of schedule.  The equipment was brought in earlier than scheduled and since the first batch of Huawei engineers arrived, work has begun in earnest fashion.  Our engineers are working side by side with Huawei on this project."

Cramped spaces within Our Telekom premisesIt is a project of gigantic proportions, one that the company has proudly announced will provide a network that offers services now being enjoyed in more developed markets in Asia, Europe and the America's.  "It will cater for a minimum of 1 million subscribers" said CEO Loyley Ngira in a recent business presentation at the Solomon Kitano Mendana Hotel.

With the arrival of bemobile as its competitor, Our Telekom is raising the stakes by investing into a robust mobile phone network.  Our sources indicate that Our Telekom has taken a very proactive role in pushing out newer, better products to its customers.  Speaking on the condition of anonymity, another source highlighted "We are not waiting for what the competition will bring, we are taking the competition to them!"  Such ambitious strategy could only mean one thing, better services for the customer.  As CEO Loyley Ngira has always reiterated "The customer is king", customers may well finally see the end of busy signals and failing calls.
