Lifhaus reports that "Huawei is on an assignment to help Solomon Telekom build a more reliable Telecommunications network." With customer frustrations reaching an all time low it is understandable that the company is seriously addressing the issues by reaching an agreement with one of the world's leading telecommunications provider to guarantee it returns best value for money.
"We will be seeing regular presence of Huawei employees within Solomon Telekom in the coming months" said reports out of the company. Yet some customers are still frustrated that it has taken this long for the company to respond to their concerns.
Our Telekom is hoping that this new partnership will help it to provide optimum service to its growing customer base. It is also making serious investments in infrastructure to prepare for the much anticipated competition.

Welcome 3G
The introduction of third generation (3G) internet to your services is a good news.
People will have access to internet at home without the hussle and clutter of UTP cables. Wireless Internet connection sure does sounds good.
But then, would there be a reasonable price to pay for the service? As far as I know, 3G internet is not so cheap. Maybe $1000 for 1000 MB of data sounds realistic, but expensive.
I wonder will it be reliable as is stated in this article? Implementing is one thing, maintaining it is another thing.
With just the additional 2 digits to the mobile service, the mobile network is busy much more than ever. 3G will be part of the mobile network. I doubt that it will not add more traffic on the already busy network. But if telekom's engineers can manage then I hope that will be fine.
All the best with the 3G thing, and take note that 4G has been out in the market. Telekom might want to upgrade to that after implenting 3G.
