I wonder if the increase of seats for the election is a geniune move by government to provide better representation of the people or would it be simply a political gimmick used by parliamentarians to secure their seats?  I mean now the loud, wildly outspoken member of Rennell Bellona can almost guarantee a return to parliament because an alternative seat is now on offer for the province....the same for a lot of constituencies in the country.  Marovo too looks like being split giving the Finance minister more chances of returning.....what has become of our parliamentarians?  they are self serving (ex gratia payments to spouses  among other things) and now increasing the number of seats for election....this is another daylight robbery done with a better touch of subtlity!!!!!!!!!!!!

effects of RCDF- Taiwan

neo it is one of the effects of the RCDF flying left & right. The idea of having new constituencies is no longer for political representation but how much you can spare from your allocated Govt funds RDCF etc. If RCDF component is abolished then it will be another story. Oh hao?
