As I have expressed earlier in the thread Digicel vs Telekom you can be creative and run a whole new way of doing business. Lets talk about the possibilities and lets see if Our Telekom will respond to any of the creative ideas we put out here.

this new 3G, are you going to charge me for the bytes i downloaded or the time frame i get connected?
okay more question coming later pending on answere givem (then ume ,muv go more).
@Piko, this is usually charge by the amount of data size goes thru your internet connection, in bytes, not the time.
btw, am not a telekom staff.
@Piko, in summary 3G has it correct Our Telekom will only charge for the amount of data exchanges happening between your mobile phone and the Internet. So if you visit a site and it is 1MB in size the you get only charged for the 1MB which may cost you $1. What Our Telekom will do though is to sell data plans to customers on prepaid numbers. So you decided how much usage you anticipate in 1 month and buy a plan that suits you. Maybe a 3GB plan at $500 (just figures from the top of my head)..which you can use in a month. There are distinct advantages to having data on the mobile network. You can recieve your emails on the move, access the internet and even post a story to Lifhaus. All these actions contribute to your data plan so it is wise to use wisely....which brings me to another issue. Websites must now be optimized to fit onto mobile phones (both in size and quality). Our Telekom is moving ahead in developing a mobile version of its website and Lifhaus too will break new grounds by making a version of this website specifically for the mobile phone.....it will be compact and the size of the website should not eat into your credit...kaen olsem...
People are always asking, when? If you are on a postpaid phone....you can use the mobile data on the network already and Our Telekom will bill you. If you are on prepaid....sources say that data plans will be available when the 3G network is officially launched...so watch out for that.

Now Telekom try and convince SIWA, SIEA, NPF, Banks and others who can offer service thru this improve network. But Our Telekom need to prove that their network is secure to avoid intrusion by others with rogue intention. With an improve & reliable communication it is a stimulus for the economy.
have all other phases in place and lets see the potential you can offer. But last nite I could get hold of those i want to talk to.
