The title appeared in the Solomon Star newspaper just makes me wonder. What is the government all about? Making Solomon Islands a better country or making the NCRA members better off? Truely I m wondering!
Should the PM boast about what his government achieve for this country or with running a government (50 MPs)? I m not a supporter of the current NCRA government and I have my own reasons - the statement irks me really.
From the beginning of the election till now and all the controversial decisions made, I m sick of this government. I want new people in there but then my sense tells me that RH (former CBSI governer) a great man, he now with NCRA and been too silent to speak. RH seems to be a right leader but being so quiet, i think that is not beneficial to us young Solomon Islanders. I once meet the previous opposition leader (SA) at a sport centre, i asked him about his view about the NCRA government back then ( on the bechdemar, and other issues), he quietly spoken" ai man oketa ia (NCRA) tekem country blo umi lo wrong place, oketa spoilem country ia". just wonder why he seems to be so quiet. Back then, I was deceived in thinking, this man is a serious leader - I wish this country has serious leaders. With just ongoing controversial decisions, i wonder when will this unethical decision making ends?
I m longing for a day when our leaders will make ethical decisions that benefits everyone (men, women, young people, disable, babies and the animals, trees, fish in our country). Decisions that may not be perfect, but are good enough for the country.
