PM Lilo's cabinet reveals no change, still NCRA

Posted on November 23rd, 2011 by Administrator.

Former Prime Minister Danny Philip in his farewell to the NCRA government said "Today is 11/11/11 but it must not be double jeopardy meaning you can get rid of NCRA leader but cannot destroy NCRA.”  As Prime Minister Lilo unveiled his cabinet, little has changed within the government.  If the motion of no confidence is defeated on Friday, then the former Prime Minister's words will be prophetic at best.

Government sources today revealed to the Lifhaus News Desk the line up of government ministers who will be serving the government under Prime Minister Lilo.  Little has changed but there is much optimism for the appointment of Hon. Rick Hou to the Ministry of Finance.  In that regard, political pundits can thank Hon. Steve Abana who is said to have demanded this as a condition for his continual support for the government.  Although, he may have not secured the position of Deputy Prime Minister, our sources say he is committed to keeping this government intact.

Very little change has been done and the only changes are reflected in the shifting of Hon. Rick Hou to the Ministry of Finance and his replacement Hon. Alfred Ghiro.  Hon. Snyder Rini who declared he will remain a government backbencher has also been reappointed to his former portfolio as Minister for Planning and Aid Coordination.
