I always share the same thought...they should do a lot of educational features. We need analysts who can analyse local happenings so that people can be opened up to ideas. How about fashion stories? Entertainment. People might want to follow what's happening in Hollywood too. I like Fiji Times issues on Sundays. They have a news paper for teen agers. Basically, things like popular songs, lyrics, educational stories on Sexually Transmitted Dieseases etc, book and film reviews-things which are educational- are covered in this popular news paper. And there are times when schools have their own news papers published in some issues as a kind of competition. Reading from what they publish, the level of English was quite good. My point is Solomon Star should look beyond just reporting the news, I think they will create a lot of difference in our society if they move out of where they're today and look at means by which they can make that impact.
